Talabai: Transcend yourself in the beautiful valley of Kashmir ensconced in this classic design set off on deep maroon and bottle green. Taking the inspiration from the age old techniques of talaibar and sozani from the Kashmiri craftsmanship this design involves beautiful rendition of paisley and ethnic motifs created from the traditional patterns. The long shirt is heavily worked in threadwork in deep claret,green, rust and nugget gold complemented by antique gold zari and cupped sequins. The neckline and borders pay homage to talaibar replicated by antique dori and sequins with solid dyed trouser. Adding warmth the woven shawl is made in deep bottle green with luminescent zari lines further enriched by maroon applique embroidered pallus topped with heavy motifs.
